Boyfriend Me ("the App") is developed by Futuron Inc. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Conversation Data: Your chat messages are sent to our AI service provider (Google Gemini) to generate responses. Messages are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers.
Photos: If you share photos in chat, they are sent to the AI service to generate contextual responses. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers.
Local Data: Your preferences, companion type, chosen names, shared interests, and chat history are stored locally on your device. Recent messages and these preferences may be sent as conversation context when you request an AI response.
Abuse Prevention: The App creates a random, app-scoped install identifier. Our Cloudflare service hashes it and uses the hash only to count requests and prevent abuse. The short-lived rate-limit record expires within 48 hours. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Subscription Data: Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store payment information.
We use Google's Gemini API to generate AI chat responses. When you send a message, it is transmitted to Google's servers for processing and a response is returned to your device.
Explicit Consent: The App asks for your explicit consent before any message, photo, preference, chosen name, interest, or recent chat context is sent to Google Gemini. Every AI request checks consent again immediately before networking. Consent can be revoked in Settings.
Processing: Futuron does not store message or photo content on its servers. Google and Cloudflare process request data under their applicable terms and privacy practices.
Google's Privacy Practices: Google processes your messages in accordance with their privacy policy. For more information, see Google's API Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
The App may send local notifications (scheduled text messages from your AI boyfriend). These are generated and scheduled entirely on your device. No push notification server is involved.
Conversation history is stored locally on your device and is removed when you delete the App. Futuron does not retain message or photo content on its servers. Hashed rate-limit counters expire automatically within 48 hours. Google and Cloudflare may process request data according to their applicable terms.
The App is rated 17+ and is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
